Some do price match and then some don't. At Christmas I had purchased a Nintendo DS for my grandson from K-Mart and then a few days later Best Buy & Target were offering giftcards with purchase. So I took the DS to K-Mart & asked if they would match the gift card and the little jerk of a manager said yes but I had to have the ad with me. I had not even thought of bringing it! I know I should have. But the other stores are literally across the street from K-Mart so I would have thought maybe we could have called? He was so uncaring about it and I was in a hurry that day so I just told him I would return the DS and buy it across the street. He couldn't have cared less! I couldn't believe he would rather lose a $130+ sale than to make an effort to keep it. No wonder K-Mart is not able to compete with the other big box stores.
