I get what you are saying, but you have to remember that your germs and bacteria are left on the pump to spread and grow. Which is why it is better to have faucets, soap dispensers, hand dryers, and paper towel dispensers with sensors so you don't spread your germs or pick up other people's. Not everything is killed by soap, so the less you touch...the better
