| A cat is....
A cat is short for Catalina, a coupon that is printed out from a Catalina machine found at a lot of grocery store registers. Looks like a receipt. Farm Fresh prints catalinas, as well as most grocery stores around here. Walmart does not print cats.
Oh, and FF will indeed double dnd5 coupons, I have done it every week since they began printing that in their weekly ads. I emailed the corp office, asking why they put that in there, when it doesnt' really matter what kind of coupon they accept, the manufacturer will still only reimburse them the face value of the coupon plus S and H. The response I got (an actual SNAIL MAIL LETTER!!!) said that they had to put that in for legal reasons basically, since some customers didn't understand when the dnd9 blinkies from the store shelves wouldn't double. Of course, YMMV, and every store is different, but I have had no problems. My checkers are too busy to stop and read every single coupon I hand over, they are only interested in getting me out of there as fast as possible.
HTH!
