I do find that if I stay on top of keeping his usual foods stocked then he'll make fewer trips to the grocery store and the grocery budget does not suffer as much.
I am also keeping some 'leeway' in the weekly budget, ie keeping the amt. I spend lower so that when I add in what he's spent I will still come in under budget. So far so good for this week.
