I don't get why some employees feel they need to protect Jewel from customers trying to get the best deal. They should try to make the best deals as well. I have dropped the dime to cashiers on kick butt deals and they are stunned. They almost always say that they are going to get some of those items. Oh well. Sorry you had one of "Those".
I once had an assistant manager have to key in my sale because of so many coups. She said, "Oh, you're one of those couponers" with complete contempt. I just smiled.
