I love giving extra qs to the cashiers, too! The week of the chinet deal, I had grabbed a bunch of the tearpad qs and didn't realize quite how many, but was using all but one of them and the cashier said "oh, you must have picked those up earlier, they are all out now". I gave her my last extra and she was so thrilled. Yesterday, she played with my kids on her break while I used the self checkout! It all comes around!
