Another issue, bought the 2/$4 Capri Sun tonight. I had 4 coupons, so I took 2 and gave 2 to my teen son. I went first and cashier/manager I found out later) quickly rang up my order, I was paying attention to make sure the $2.00 off beef coupon worked (which it did) when buying the Grande chips (used 2 .75q's).

I had given my son enough change to pay for his order about .75 (he got 2 capri suns and 1 garden burger) used 3 $1.00 coupons which doubled. Cashier said the amount was $1.67??? I said no, it should be about .60. The one flavor of capri sun rang up wrong (2/$6 or $3 each). I showed the manager/cashier and then said to my son "you will have a negative balance, because you will get that item for "free" when he adjusts the price. The manager said, I can't give you money back. I said, I know. So I said, just give him the one coupon back (which he did). He re-rang the order and it came to .61.

Here's my question..if an item is rung up wrong, but we are getting it for free using a coupon that is doubled, how should it be handled??? (I know i'm getting it for "free" either way)

(BTW, I checked my receipt for the Capri Sun mistake and it rang up $3.00, he gave me $3.12 cash back)


Another question...when a catalina prints out say for .75/1 or 1.00/1 item, will they double it when you use it???

You were right to not say anything about the Bush's coupon, however for the Capri sun you should have paid the $1.67. Then once you figured out from the receipt what was wrong, go to CS and get a refund which would be for the full $3 plus tax.

As for the catalina doubling, it depends. Some people report to have successfully doubled catalinas and some have not. I tried this with a catalina for Big Chill Soda and it didn't double, but I think it was because it was a FF item. I think if it was a man. cpn for something like Kellogg's cereal it may have doubled. HTH!
