I'm so sorry you are being hit by this economy. It really stinks that it's hurting so many people who work hard.

Your situation sounds like what has happened to our son and soon to be DIL -- to be married July 11 and he lost his job due to economy two weeks ago. She was a teacher in a Christian school that closed it doors in June due to the economy. At least he is able to draw unemployment while he is searching for another job.

You might consider looking into the unemployment -- your fiance's employer should be paying toward unemployment insurance every month and it should be available to him. I'm not sure how truck drivers fare when it comes to this, but it's something to look into now before that time with no job is actually upon you.

Keep your chin up and don't let this ruin your wedding day - cry, scream, and pound on a bed -- but above all else, pray. We're praying for you too.
