I don't know if this is an option or would be of any help, but I ran across the site a few minutes ago and immediately thought about you.

apparently free membership and you can share tips and ideas with other brides, even catering, etc. I mean it appears you can also actually, "physically" share things. I'm assuming by that they mean things like cake fountains, wedding decorations, rented equipment, etc. Maybe if you live in an area close enough to someone getting married the same weekend for example, rented equipment like fountains, etc could be rented by one, shared by both, and the cost split 50/50. (among other ideas they have).
I don't know I didn't sign up, but sounds interesting.
