I received this reply today:
"Thank you for your email. The 20 limit on coupons is per household as well as per person. Therefore, even though you and your sister have different cards, you still live in the same household. Harris Teeter links all cards together by household, which is determined by address and phone number. We have forwarded your comments to the appropriate department for review. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

HT is going to lose a lot of customers over this. I am not sure how much more time I am going to devote to this. I do not know if contacting corporate is worth the effort. HT used to be one of my favorite stores. If I continue to shop there, it will only be to buy what is a really great deal. I will not purchase anything else from them other than that. My mother lives in another city. She has a HT card, but does not use it a lot. Either me or my sister will probably get one of her cards.
