| So excited!!!
I have not been couponing for long, so when I made a great purchase yesterday, I had to share it. I go shopping on Thursday usually, so this was just a quick trip to HyVee for a few items. I purchased:
1 gallon milk $3.45
2 Kotex pads on sale 2/$5
Total $8.45 (we don't have a tax on some things here in MN)
I used q's:
free gallon milk (from buying three boxes of cereal the week before) up to $4.50
$2/2 Kotex pads
New total: $3
This is what I thought I would pay. But when the cashier scanned the milk coupon it registered the $4.50 off. So, I had $1.05 overage which was then applied to the rest of the bill. OOP $1.95 YAY!!! I figured it was a 77% saving!!!
