I had a problem today with the FREE Marcel Paper Towel coupon!!!!

It only rang up $1.00 and did not double. At the Farm Fresh I was at, they even had the coupon stapled in FRONT of the towels showing it "free". I had given my son cash and figured out the cost of his items, but when the towels only rang up $1.00 off each he didn't have enough cash. I had to jump to his line and use my debit card. I knew immediately it was the FREE coupons.

Ironically, I was in a different line buying the same items as my son. MY items rang up $2.19 (FREE for each Free coupon - used 2).

AFter checking the receipts, I went to customer service to speak with a manager. Showing only the receipt where the towels didn't ring up FREE, she looked at another coupon I had and said it reads "only up to a $1.00", "I said that would be fine EXCEPT back at the paper towels you have this exact coupon up for display showing the towels for FREE". She went to check it out and sent someone back to give me my $2.40 cash back. When she came back, I asked if it would ring up automatically or be keyed in? She said it should always ring up only the $1.00 (what about the store doubling??-didn't ask). I then pulled out my receipt and asked why the other receipt rang up completely FREE -2.19? She looked at my receipt and said "that person should have called a manager and had to key it in" (Which was not true, he scanned the coupon it and automatically took off the $2.19-but I didn't tell her that). I said I don't mind paying the extra cents, but would like if the price would be consistent from 1 visit to the next She agreed.

I have several more coupons to use for FREE, but don't want the hassle with them over it....


I'm also not impressed with them raising prices on items they KNOW we are using $1.00 coupons on!
The yoplait/yoplus 4 pack yogurt has been $2.69 the last several months, using the $1.00 q, makes it .69 on Wednesday
TODAY, it went up to 2.99.........now with the q' I'm paying .99
