mfr coupons especially blinkies start with either a 9 or 5.

previously, the blinkies/inserts coupons that start with a 5, even if they had DND or DNT markings doubled or tripled automatically UNLESS an alert cashier notices and un-double/un-triple manually based on the wording.

but if as stated above, MQs that don't have DND and start with a 5 are not doubling, there may have been changes made to programming of register. this simply means that customers have to be more alert now when they check out to make sure their coupons (no DND/DNT) double. it is best to have a calculator handy so one knows an estimate of their total after doubles. if their totals come out a lot more than expected, they can fix it with cashier immediately. otherwise, they have to go to CS to fix the problem and thus waste more time.
