HUGE savings during Big Y's Triple Coupon Week!

BigY is having triple coupon week. That means any coupon under .99 gets tripled. YEEHAW!

The local food pantry is going to be very happy to see some of this stuff..

I spent about 2 hours preparing, and only got about 1/2 my shopping done. Seriously my cart was overflowing and I didn't want to have to drag two around the store... so I'll probably go back tomorrow for more juice and drink mixes.

I'm not going to go into huge details with prices and coupon amounts except for a few items.

4C drink mixes were Buy 1, Get 1 FREE.. and I had B1G1 coupons, which made ALL of them free. There was a limit of 5 deals.. so 10 drink mixes. I saved over $60 on those alone.

Carolina rices were $1 each, with $.75 off 2. Tripled that means for every 2 rice packets I bought, I made $.25. I bought 28 of them.

The small boxes of rice were $1.29. Coupons were for $.50, tripled $1.50. I made $.21 for every box. I bought 16.

Those tiny overages added up to me getting other items totally free... like the Coke, Beef Stocks, and Tuna.

I AM a little disappointed because the cashier (a total sweetheart) took the coupons off of the boxes of New York breads. They were $.55, tripled to $1.65. I had coupons for $.75 which would have tripled to $2.25, making the entire order in the negative... or FREE.

Now keep in mind that the ad SAID they were not going to give overages, however this store did. Otherwise I would have had to pay about $20 or so for my order.

I have to do Shaws and S&S tomorrow. God help me.
