I frequent the Torrington, CT Big Y (which is pretty new and very nice inside). It's not my first choice; I live closer to Stop & Shop, which has better non-sale prices. But when there's a good sale, or the $15/$50 coupons, I make the trip and make the most of it. I am a little irritated by how high the regular prices are at Big Y (I went to Target before Big Y today and found at least 2 items that are $2 cheaper at Target! And many more that could be saved on there as well, or at regular prices at Stop & Shop) but as long as I stick to sale items, I'm usually okay.
