RiteAid used to give me trouble about it being the $25 AFTER coupons until I wrote a letter of complaint to the Corporate about it. I think the emails just go to the Store Manager, but if you explain your point and why, they have a chance to check it out with their Corporate I guess.
Basically I told them that because Rite Aid gets reimbursed by the Manufacturer for coupons, then the coupons are the same as someone spending cash. So when they say the $5/$25 coupon is good after other coupons, they are making me pay more than if I was spending cash, and it is unfair!
I didn't elect to be contacted by anyone about it, but, everytime since then I've not had any trouble with them using the $5/$25 first, before my other coupons.
So you should write and tell them you don't think it's fair.
