 I have a question; is it true that you can't use a coupon on a clearance item?
 I was at Freds today and saw Airwick spray on clear. for .50 each because the caps were broken. I was so happy that I picked four and thought that I could use the buy 1 get 1 free coupons. The young girl working the register asked the other employee who has more experience if she could use the coupons on the airwick. She said no because it was an item "as is" not part of the clearance items? I don't understand? I know that once they say no on something I just don't fuss with them because I'll have to see them again. But is this true and how should I approach this next time? Help. |
