I really depends on the size your child is at birth. size 1 I stocked for the first 6 months
10-15 lbs . I only got a couple size 2 very similar to size 1. Size 3 they can be in for almost a year 16-28 lbs . I found that to be the biggest stockpile. DD turned 2 today and she is in a 4 22-37 lb if huggies and 5 if CVS or Walgreens
