There are times, when even if you DO have insurance, Kroger's pricing is better than your co-pay. So just tell the person working that you want that Rx "run as cash" and to make a note on your account for future reference.
There is a list at the pharmacy counter that you can take with you, that gives better detail as to medications covered. Also keep in mind you may not see your medication listed, because most of the $ 4 / $ 10 are generics... so don't give up - it may be there - just as a generic.
ALSO - big mistake... many people see "their med" listed... but don't realize there are various forms of "their med". For example: if you take a Rx that has XL, SR or CR on the end of it... those are extended release FORMS of that Rx... therefore the "extended-release" may not be covered... but the regular version is... So don't lose hope... communication is KEY. Talk to your Kroger pharmacist and ask them for advice and work together with your doctor to find the best option for you.
