We have already started and a great website to help you get started is the latter day saints website I think it The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (I am not a LDS member) also not sure if you live urban or suburban BUT dont forget seeds for the garden ! I started early last year but financially had to stop in November and ate through some of the stockpile. Restarted again last week I try to spend 30.00 every 2 weeks in stockpile supplies (which goes really far with coupons) Also dont forget cleaning supplies, Bandaids , peroxides , alcohol , lamp oil (hopefully you already have lamps) matches. I like to have at least 100+lbs of flour at all times and 50+ sugar Dont forget Canning supplies also~!
