On the Shampoo, I just emailed a company to ask what their shelf life was because there was an expired rebate tag on there, so I was suspicious. She said 6 years.

If the laundry detergent is right, then I'm really in trouble! I've had mine for a couple of years now. It seems to be working fine. It's Gain and still smells great, takes the stains out of my laundry.

Great post, especially on the dairy goods. I like how they point out that some foods are still safe to consume, so with, for example ketchup, you can taste it for yourself.

Just the other date I realized my Mayo was horribly out of date! Glad I found this thread.
