hmmmm I have had some manually entered and they still doubled. I think sometimes they just hit that "do not double" button on purpose  It seems to me that some of the cashiers HATE coupons....I really think they should find another place to work if they do LOL
Did you ask the cashier about it? I would have....she could have manually entered the double too.
