I know you asked about the books awhile ago, but I am new. All of the books that were listed are great, but my absolute favorite books are SkippyJon Jones books. I don't remember the author but any bookstore should know them by name. You do have to read it with a fake accent though. All the children adore it and even adults get a kick out of it too!
