You actually have to choose the place first. You have to search for whatever area you are looking into going and see the participating restaurants located there. Then you choose the one you want to go to, buy the gc, and print it at that time or whenever you are ready to use it. They keep it on file in your account. Oh, about using more than one at a time, I guess it depends on the restaurant. The ones I got say it can't be used with any other discounts and only 1 card at a time.
