| Super Values at Super One
I am a faithful Super One customer. We have two grocery stores in our city (Hugo's and Super One). We also have SuperTarget, Wal-Mart SuperStore, Kmart, Family Dollar, Pamida, and a couple of $1 stores. I rarely shop at Target because it is quite pricey compared to the other stores in our area, even with coupons.
On one occasion I did the bulk of my shopping at Wal-Mart which tends to have great prices on such things as fresh produce, snack crackers, and ground beef. The next time I went shopping, I went to my old faithful (Super One) and took my Wal-Mart receipt from the previous shopping trip. As I walked down aisle after aisle fulfilling my shopping list, I noted the store's prices next to items on my Wal-Mart receipt. What I noticed was that the prices are very comparable. Some items might be a few cents cheaper at Wal-Mart and others cheaper at Super One by a few pennies.
Super One seems to offer a more pleasant shopping experience than Wal-Mart. Not only is it less crowded and has more of a small town atmosphere than its big business competitor Wal-Mart, but the store also has many B1G1F sales AND accepts both their store coupon AND manufacturer's coupons for the same items as their store coupons.
I have been doing a lot of comparison shopping and making my list more compatible with the "deals and steals" at all of our local stores, but I still do my bulk shopping at Super One.
