“WINGS” Signed Book Giveaway
What do AFullCup members like to do other than coupon and save money? Among a vast array of fun hobbies, I know many of you love to read. Taking a break from hunting deals to escape into a novel of adventure is the perfect mind shift to recoup for more couponing!

We know us women are tough. With our mothers in mind (having just celebrated Mother’s Day) we praise the beautifully strong women of the past and are inspired by their strength as we face our futures. Reading is a wonderful way to connect with the past to find that inspiration.

Wings: A Novel of World War II Flygirls, is a just-released historical fiction piece set in Texas. I will admit, as a former Texan and daughter of an airplane mechanic I am completely biased and immediately drawn to the storyline of this book. Did you know that during World War II more than 25,000 young women volunteered for training as Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP)? Of the 1,830 who were accepted, 1,074 graduated and indeed flew missions as pilots.
This fictional story based on the true accounts of these Women Airforce Service Pilots will certainly be a must-have summer read. To see if it catches your attention you can read the first two chapters HERE: kfriedrich.com
